The inspiration for this was based off of something that happened at Defcon this year.  In case you aren't aware, Defcon relocated to the Las Vegas Convention Center, and because of that many of the attendees and exhibitors ended up staying at the Las Vegas Resorts World Hilton, including the presenter and several of his colleagues.  A few days before the event, a letter began circulating on the Internet from the hotel notifying guests that because of a hacking convention coming to town, security personnel would be doing physical sweeps of rooms during the day looking for, basically, computer stuff.  Later we found documentation showing what they were actually looking for, and it was just pictures of things like USB sticks, routers, cables, and some actual tools like a breadboard,…
