Our first presentation will host Katlyn Gallo. A Security Engineer at a pharmaceutical company who holds a CISSP and Masters in Cybersecurity. She is also the founder of Dark Roast Security, a cybersecurity blog on Medium.
Abstract:
With new threats emerging each day, it's become more important than ever to leverage threat intelligence to drive a security operations program and enable security leaders to make decisions based on both global and industry-specific trends. Integrating threat intelligence into Sec Ops workflows is essential for developing an effective SOC (Security Operations Center) and a narrowed focus of security defense activities. This presentation will cover how security operations teams can leverage threat intelligence to identify adversaries and threats most likely to target their organization and map them to the ATT&CK framework, enabling a security team to better understand the MITRE TTPs (tactics, techniques, and procedures) most likely to impact their environment.
