Christian Scott and Travis DeForge of Gotham Security will be presenting on the threats that are currently being seen in the financial services industry from malicious actors. By incorporating bleeding edge techniques such as cloning executives' voices using generative AI as part of social engineering and advanced technical exploitation, Travis and Christian will discuss how they're able to help organizations proactively safeguard themselves against these emerging threats.

Christian's Bio -- Christian is an eccentric, self-made technology & cybersecurity leader who is extremely enthusiastic about spreading security awareness. Christian initially matriculated from the domain of software development and then moved into network & systems engineering before finally settling into cybersecurity by performing penetration testing & building security programs for numerous Fortune 1000 companies. Today, Christian serves as COO and CISO at Gotham Security, a boutique cybersecurity firm based in Manhattan. After retiring from daily penetration testing with over 400 engagements under his belt, Christian now focuses on building elite ethical hacker teams, white-glove governance-risk-compliance teams, and cybersecurity solutions that serve the financial services space from national banks & options exchanges to SEC-registered firms. In his free time, Christian enjoys teaching & mentoring others in the areas of cybersecurity, business development, and leadership.
Travis's Bio - Travis DeForge is the Manager of Cyber Security Engineering at Gotham Security, a US-based cybersecurity firm that provides high-quality penetration testing, malicious adversary simulation, and cybersecurity strategy services. In this role, he primarily conducts network and web application penetration testing, social engineering engagements, and cloud security risk assessments for multibillion dollar global organizations. Prior to joining Gotham Security Travis served for several years as an active-duty Military Intelligence officer in the US Army. During this tenure, he held several positions related to signals intelligence (SIGINT), open-source intelligence (OSINT), electronic warfare (EW), and information operations at both the tactical and operational levels. Travis is passionate about cybersecurity and training others. He is also the author of the upcoming book Penetration Testing with Nmap which is designed for junior and aspiring cybersecurity professionals who want to take their penetration testing skills to the next level by incorporating sophisticated Nmap techniques such as advanced obfuscation and firewall evasion into their skillset.
