About the event

Chapter Meeting - Sept 2023:

"Protecting the Organization: the Psychology Behind Social Engineering"

Social engineering is used to exploit the human elements of the security architecture of an organization. These attacks can be difficult to combat because they don’t follow specific approaches. This talk will cover the different types of social engineering attacks, outline how social engineering works, and offers suggestions for how to combat social engineering attacks on the organization.

Rachael Tubbs is the Marketing & Events Manager at Independent Security Evaluators(ISE) and is currently working on her PhD. in Forensic Psychology.
